LAUREN KERR, Esq - Associate - born in Columbus, Ohio. She attended South Dakota State University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Spanish. Lauren was an NCAA Division I Athlete in Women’s Equestrian, earning multiple MVP honors and an All-American Honorable Mention. Lauren also worked as a peer mentor to assist students recovering from academic suspension.

Lauren earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Florida. During law school, Lauren served as the President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. The University of Florida recognized Lauren’s leadership by awarding her “Student Officer of the Year” from among all university organizations. Lauren completed internships with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida and Three Rivers Legal services, where she assisted those who could not afford legal representation with issues in foreclosure and domestic violence. She also worked as a law clerk for a firm handling criminal defense matters. Lauren participated in a mediation clinic and received training to become a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.

Lauren joined Unice, Salzman, Jensen, P.A. as a litigation associate. She is a member of the Ohio Bar and Florida Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Ohio and Middle District of Florida.

Lauren enjoys equestrian sports and participates in running half marathon races. She is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a member of the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin. Lauren is involved in the Clearwater Bar Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
